Our family has done quite a bit of traveling in the past five days. We've gone from the beautiful highlands of Kapsowar to Eldoret and then by matatu from Eldoret to Nairobi. We then flew last Thursday to the Masai Mara where we enjoyed a fabulous holiday enjoying the splendor of God's creation in the wild and beautiful Kenyan Savannah. On Saturday we returned to Nairobi (on an 11 seater plane!!). We enjoyed a lovely Sunday worshiping at AIC Ngong Church where we used to attend while living in Nairobi for a brief period of time and then had a perfect afternoon visiting with many of our dear friends and teachers who first helped us learn about Kenyan culture and language when we arrived in July 2006. So, now, here we are in Ealing, London, staying with Paul's brother Mark and family for one week. But let's rewind...
This past month has meant the world to us. It's been a time to rekindle friendships with so many dear people who have touched our lives. We cannot express the depth of love we feel for these friends. They have made an indelible mark on our lives and we will never forget their love, graciousness, hospitality, and the many life lessons they have helped us to learn. We love you, our friends, and will hold you close to our hearts and always in our thoughts and prayers.
